OMG.. I just found an old picture. It's a collage of #x-files members. #x-files is an IRC chat channel on Undernet.org. Years ago, before MSN and all other chat clients, this was the way to communicate in real time. After the introduction of ICQ and MSN etc, the interest of IRC has been going down. Mostly because it's not a "klick and chat" experience, and you can't really send animated emoticons etc.
It's an .. ewww .. text only service.
Anyway, during the high of the X-Files series I was a regular on that channel. Being online almost daily, making online friends from all over the world.
Today I visited the channel again, after, well, what seems ages. Some familiar nicknames were still there! Others were still in contact with LGM aka Alex Dawson.
The channel is now mostly idle. But maybe, with the event of the new X-Files movie, it will attract old-school members who get this deja-vu, just like I did.
Anyway, the collage is depicted to the right (click for larger).

Sorry I missed your visit to #x-files Spacey. Come back again next week (Monday the 26th is a holiday in the US, so I'll be back on Tuesday). I'm hoping the new X-files movie will bring back more old friends like yourself. Spread the word!
